The South East (often hyphenated to the South-East) is the one of the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria representing both a geographic and political region of the country's inland southeast. It comprises five states – Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.

The zone is bounded by the River Niger on the west, the riverine Niger Delta on the south, the flat North Central to the north, and the Cross River on the east. It is divided between the Cross–Niger transition forests ecoregions in the south and the Guinean forest–savanna mosaic in the drier north. Culturally, the vast majority of the zone falls within Igboland–the indigenous cultural homeland of the Igbo people, a group which makes up the largest ethnic percentage of the southeastern population at over 99.7%.

Although the South East is the smallest geopolitical zone, it contributes greatly to the Nigerian economy due to oil and natural gas reserves along with a growing industrialized economy. The region has a population of about 36 million people, around 18% of the total population of the country

Pastor Cecil E. Golder Jr. was born in St Louis, MO. He is the son of Cecil E & Uniastine Golder. Pastor Golder was called to preach at an early age. Pastor Golder has always had a passion for ministry, working in his Uncles Church, the late Bishop Morris E. Golder. Pastor Golder has sat on many auxiliaries in the local church as well as the Indiana state council. Pastor Cecil E. Golder is the proud Pastor of New Bethel Tabernacle in South Bend, IN. Pastor Golder was elevated on October 14, 2014, to Suffragan Bishop under the honorable Bishop Charles Finnell. Pastor Cecil Golder is the husband of Lady Tammorra LM Golder, and they have two sons Joseph & Elisha. Pastor Golder serves as the assistant secretary of the IMMA. Pastor Golder is a certified chaplain and a graduate of Chaplaincy Training Institute where he has also served as an instructor.
